WHO
Which artists turn is it to paint the sky tonight,
Look at those colours, what a magnificent sight,
Clouds dipped in gold, purple, red and rich pink,
The vivid blue sky now red as the sun does sink.
Even in the east the clouds are touched as by dawn,
Almost as pretty as they were in hours of first morn
Look at those brush strokes on each fluffy cloud,
And that large one like a velvet ghostly shroud.
I feel that when an artist leaves this earth to die,
If good are given the opportunity to paint the sky,
Those well known or even those of little fame
Has the chance to use a paint brush once again.
Whos turn is it tonight I would love to know,
Who put on for us this great spectacular show,
Just think if you are an artist what a privilege it will be
To paint a sunrise or sunset for all the world to see.
