CHOIR SINGING
I love to hear a massed voiced choir singing,
Over a hundred voices all sweetly blending,
Sometimes they sing songs of loudest praise,
Then sing so soft and sweet a prayer to raise.

Sometimes they sing in unison, one mighty throng,
The divide into many harmonies in elaborate song,
Listen how they blend in rich and tender tone
As hearts rejoice together to reach God’s throne.

A choir can inspire a weary heart to want to smile,
Or just want to clap your hands, dance for awhile,
Close your eyes and relax, help you fall fast asleep,
Sigh with joy at the bass notes so vibrant and deep.

We all cannot sing in some great massed choir,
Sing well mighty hymns to our hearts desire,
Just close your eyes and in your heart sing praise
As each of our own voices we try to heaven raise.

So sing aloud some sweet melodious melody,
You will feel a joy that will set each voice free,
Then dream as you sing that you belong to a choir,
Sing aloud rejoicing and your heart will never tire.
