MUSIC FOR INSPIRATION

When you hear a piece of music
and it stirs you to the very soul,
you seem to be more vibrant, more alive,
you'll have more awareness, more whole.

It flows like a river of tranquillity,
soothes and quiets a troubled mind.
Like David's harp, it conquers sin.
Such a pleasing feeling is hard to find.

Men have written with inspiration
simple sounds that touch and heal,
simple sounds that quell fear and doubt,
simple sounds that you can feel
like kind hands soothing away pain.

When they wrote their music true,
did they think after hundreds of years
it would be sweetly playing still?
Soothing souls, healing heavy hearts,
Giveing joy, and so our lives fill.
