I AM NEVER ALONE
In a crowded room, no one really knowing,
Feeling lonely, but the feeling growing
In my glad heart, someone is there for me,
Someone by my side, where ever I may be.
I am never alone.

Standing in a canopied wood so green,
Only nature and wild creatures to be seen,
I feel His arm around me, feeling His care,
All of nature telling me, He is always there.
I am never alone.

At the death of a friend or dear loved one,
Feeling sorrow because their life is done,
A deep peace sinks in my aching heart
Telling me that in sorrow, we are not far apart.
I am never alone.

When your human body is racked in pain,
You think that you will never feel well again,
You feel the hand of healing sooth your brow
And all that pain and hurt is eased, somehow.
I am never alone.

When your heart is heavy with wickedness and sin,
You pray for forgiveness, your heart breaks within,
Then like a warm gentle breeze on a cold winter day,
All your heart’s anguish seems to be taken right away.
I am never alone.

I know when it is my turn to die, this life to leave,
He will be there to cradle me, I know I will not grieve,
For all through my life He has been there even for me,
And I know he will not leave me on my way to eternity.
I am never alone.
