GOD’S GIFTS
We should never take lightly the gifts to us so freely given,
From our loving God above, who rules earth and heaven,
So many priceless treasures are ours through every day,
Heart beats, each breath we take, the strength to go all the way.

The beauty of nature many sights and scenes to us unfold,
The sunrise and the sunset magnificent and glorious to behold,
The sound of the mighty waves pounding on the sandy shore
The sweet song of the birds as their God they do adore.

The love of good friends and our happy families close by,
The knowledge that we will not be parted when we die,
But we can be together forever, if we strive to do our part,
Knowing Jesus is our Saviour and we are in His heart.

The gift of the temple gleaming in the morning sun,
Where salvation is obtained and there is much work done
For all those long departed and those here on earth,
This temple gift that is ours is of great eternal worth.

We are a blest people, we saints of these latter days,
We are shown the path to heaven, the wisdom of His ways,
We have in our grasp all these gifts eternal, divine and pure
All given by a loving God to His children so Him always adore.
