INTEGRITY
The foundation of the highest nobility is integrity,
This all should build to acquire heaven’s eternity,
No one who is shifty, or dishonest in any way
Will find a home in heaven at the great judgment day.

Are we honest in our dealings with our fellow men?
Are we a Daniel, willing to face lions in their den?
Rather than be dishonest, stand for truth and right,
Willing to stand alone, as we fight the good fight.

What about our taxes, or getting too much change,
Integrity is important at all stages in every range.
Is my word my bond, truth’s flow from my tongue?
People know that I will not knowingly speak wrong.

Integrity is no easy talent to develop in ones mind,
Even often being late tarnishes my integrity I find,
The best way to test yourself is to stop and say,
Would I do that if Jesus were to pass by my way?

Yet we are being watched by parental, loving eyes,
Integrity, is truly noble, integrity knows no lies,
Has no need of deception, honesty will abound,
Integrity is where God’s love is truly found.
