HOLDING A GRUDGE
There are many things that stop progression,
But the one evil that all should always shun.
Is a heart that holds a grudge, never forgetting,
It increases inside in a heart ever festering.

It is hard for good to grow in a festering heart,
Sight becomes unseeing, love begins to depart,
Evil and good change places because the evil within
Is destroying a heart that should be free from sin.

Always forgive and forget, what is done is done,
That way the great healing battle can soon be won,
A truly kind heart can then blossom and grow,
So wanting the fullness of the gospel to show.

No progression will come until grudges go away,
Truth, wisdom, knowledge and light cannot stay,
So all those who hold a grudge deep down inside,
Scoop it out, throw it away so light there may abide.
