IS THERE SOMEONE
Is there really someone watching everything I do,
Carefully measuring each action that I go through,
Counting it as good or bad or maybe in between,
Even my every secret thought can easily be seen?

Does God really care enough to watch over me,
Hoping I’ll make the right choice, so His face see,
Even me, so small in this universe so grand and wide?
If that is so, then my deep gratitude I should never hide.

I should praise God for His goodness, for His loving care
For watching over me, by my unworthy side and being there,
Watching every footstep, to carry me when times are rough,
Could I ever show my thanks and love ever really enough?

Maybe try by following in the Masters footsteps every day,
By saying ‘What would Jesus do,’ along life’s busy way,
Holding out a hand of friendship, help those who are in need,
Find His wondering sheep and empty hearts and souls feed.

It will never be enough to thank God for the gift of His Son,
Our beloved Saviour, Redeemer, Jesus the anointed one.
But we will try and live as God and Jesus would have us do
Everyday of our lives, until our life’s journey is all through.
