Does it matter what we are like, good or bad,
Can we rant and rave, be mouthy to mom and dad?
What manner of man(woman) should you be?
One worthy to live in heaven for all eternity.
Yes, it does matter what we do and what we say,
We’ll find out if we have made it one special day.

A testimony will grow, and a true strong witness come,
But not in a short moment, but when many things are done,
For we are told: There is no witness until after the trial
Of your faith, so put forth a great effort, for awhile,
And then my dear young friends your hearts will fill with love
And all will know they joy of a witness from Our God above.

The Lord said: “Then will I make weak things become strong
Unto them.” Those who live the gospel who avoid wrong,
Will have the power of this promise, The weak will overcome
All the evil strength that Satan has ever wickedly done.

When we need to find out what things are good and true,
The great gifts that the Lord will give to help all of you,
“I show unto you the way to judge”, all things we can test
We can’t be lead astray, we will know what is good and best.

How can we strive to be like Jesus in our hearts and mind,
By knowing that charity suffereth and long and is kind,
Let us strive all our days sweet charity to one day obtain,
Be just like the Saviour, and so heaven’s glory truly gain.

The Lord has shown a way how all things we may know,
Something you can always try the truth to you to show,
When ye have received these things, ask God, in prayer,
The truth will come to you and you will know from where.
