BE STILL AND KNOW
Sometimes we are so busy, we have to do it all
Before the sun leaves, before night starts to fall,
We do not stop and think, about our God above,
He is in control and He wants us to feel His love.

If we hurry too much, we may not hear that still voice
That helps us through the day to make a wiser choice,
Be still and know the great power and might God gives,
Be still and know that He knows us and He lives.

Be still and see the flowers, see how many you can name
Watch the birds fly, there not too many that are the same,
We are here to progress and learn all the things we can,
For we are the greatest part of our loving Father’s plan.

We know we need to work and serve with all our might,
But we should keep God and His many gifts in our sight,
Could we answer nature questions tell what we have seen
While on this wonderful earth on our journey we have been?

Service, work, loving and caring and true appreciation
For God’s gifts I know are required in our probation,
But surely if we ignore the great beauty that is around,
We may have something lacking at the trumpet sound.

So look and learn and listen see natures many gifts
Gaze at God’s creations, feel how each view lifts,
In the hurry and bustle, stop and thank Him above
For the care He shows us, just be still and feel His love.
