LISTEN TO THE STILL SMALL VOICE
Some people wonder if it’s just in their head,
Or a prompting of the holy spirit instead?
I thought about this a lot over a many a day
and this little thought came so simply my way.
If it is really good or will do no one any harm
If it will bless a worried soul so sooth and calm,
If it means going home by a road you don’t know,
Then press on and trust and faith in the Lord show.
If the act be good, kind and directional then say
A prayer of thanks that the prompting came your way.
That still small voice you will soon get to know
If action to those unsure voices you do show.
Phone up Mary, or chat awhile to an old friend,
Call on old aunt Martha do it as the voice does send
Messages to you through your busy active life,
And I can promise you will overcome a lot of strife.
