A HEALER
Can I, a woman, a healer be,
Help someone be pain free?
Not like the Master I know,
Or the priesthood here below.
But yes, I know I can heal,
Help a soul better to feel,
Say a kind word and smile,
Be with the sick for awhile..
Do good to everyone I meet,
Be a light to those I greet,
Wipe tears from a sad face,
Simply tell of Gods good grace.
Teach the truth that can heal
The world, let others feel
The sweet warmth and light
Of the gospel pure and bright.
I can heal a broken heart,
If I do my own small part,
I can heal a sin sick soul
With love to make him whole.
I can heal sorrow by caring,
I can heal hate by loving,
I can heal ignorance by teaching,
I can heal loneliness by sharing.
Yes, I can heal in many ways,
I hope I will try all my days
To heal those around me,
This healing will set me free.
