PURE LOVE
The love that lies so very deep within my soul
Helps me feel complete, makes me feel whole,
For true love is the fulfilment of mankind,
Loving another more than ones self, joy to find.

I strive everyday my true love to further increase,
For I never want love in my heart ever to cease,
I want it to grow that Love becomes my name,
To try and love like Jesus did, that’s my aim.

But sometimes I falter, when things are not easy,
I sometimes fail, when my love will not flow free,
Yet I will keep on trying to love until the day I die,
And hope my love is pure, worthy of a home on high.

Pure love is not selfish, or wanting your own way,
Pure love is giving of yourself through every single day,
Pure love is letting your loved one to give of self too
Therefore meeting each others needs all the way through.

But give of yourself totally, expect nothing back,
That way pure love in your life you will never lack,
Try it out just for a little while and I will guarantee
That your loving will increase very significantly.

Hold this thought in your heart, let pure love flow,
And people will notice that love wherever you go,
They will see that love light shine bright in your eyes
And with pure love, your heart will be tender and wise.
