TOGETHERNESS
Falling in love is wonderful, the best thing that happened to me,
For when love touched the strings of my heart it set me free,
So it’s together with my loved one, him being close by
That sets me all aflutter and my heart give a happy sigh
As we do things together in deep love and peaceful harmony,
Pressing forward together, preparing for heaven and eternity.

Together in the morning beneath the early morning sun,
Planning what we can do together now a new day has begun,
It’s fun to hold hands as we walk around looking at the stores,
Or making apple juice together, being buried by peel and cores,
Or working side by side on the computers where it’s nice and cool,
And working out together at the gym or swimming in the pool.

We love working in the temple together as often as we can,
Although we may not see each other much, we have a plan,
We try and have lunch together, but if that does not work,
We’ll be together some time but our duty we will not shirk,
Because we’ll drive home together and tell what we have done,
Then plan all the things we’ll do when tomorrow does come.
