LOVE IS
Love is more than words and deeds,
Even more than meeting others needs,
More than wanting to be together,
Or surviving all types of bad weather.

Love is having two hearts beat as one,
Love is knowing what has to be done,
Love is knowing what the other’s thinking,
Love is for the other joy always bringing.

Love is working together for heaven above,
Love is having an aim for everlasting love,
Let no earthly pleasure dim that eternal goal,
Love that is tied together like one soul.

‘Be ye one’ said Jesus to his apostles of old,
It is even more important a love that will enfold
Two people as one for now and always my dear,
And that is our sweet love, so I will never fear.

So love is to never be afraid to die and part,
Love is always having a forever loving heart,
Love is the knowledge that we will be together,
Holding hands now as we walk and forever.
