LASTING LOVE
As the years drift slowly onward,
As the memories gather around,
As the joys and sorrows mingle,
So we are onward, upward bound.
As the songs of joy I'm singing,
As the love bursts forth more strong,
As this happiness is with us,
Let our sojourn here be long.
As the love we have grows stronger,
As the ties more firmer be,
As the days grow sweeter with you,
Let them last through eternity.
As the love we share is holy,
As the love we share is pure,
As the love is ours for ever,
Let us now, all things endure.
As He wants us to be happy,
As He grants us joys above,
As He gives us paths to follow,
May we know His wondrous love.
