AS DAYS GO BY
I know I love you more as the days go by,
A touch of the hand, a look, a gentle sigh
Say I love you so, in our own special way,
It is a love formed in heaven and here to stay.
I know I need you more as the days go by,
For we have become like one, you and I,
One in love and harmony, and faith strong,
As long as we are together, nothing is wrong,
I know our friendship grows as the days go by,
Enjoying sweet nature from all the birds that fly
To thick forests where lakes and deep and clean
And many wild animals are sometimes seen,
My appreciation grows deeper as the days go by,
Knowing we will be together in our home on high,
So come what may in this life as long as we are near,
I can go on striving all my life and never know fear.
