Help me write a poem Lord,
That will bring joy to my loved one’s life.
Help the words Flow’ freely Lord.
So this poem fills his heart with pure delight.
Help me my true love show Lord,
In verses to him in words that are sweet and kind
Help gratitude flow from me Lord,
For it would be hard in this world a better man to find.
Help me love him well dear Lord,
For this man that I call my own deserves his every wish.
Help me thank him too dear Lord.
For the type of father to our wonderful children he is.
Help me live each day dear Lord.
To show by words, by deeds and actions and my poetry
That my love for him Dear Lord,
Well last through our joys and sorrows and through eternity.
