KINDLY LITTLE DEEDS

Over the years I have tried to show
How much I really care,
I have always tried to do my best
To always be there.
There, so very close beside you,
Sharing hopes and fears,
Doing my very best my darling
To wipe away your tears.

Yet I feel I could do a little more
To make your pathway bright,
Do so many things each day
To make life just right.
Oft times the going has been quite rough
Our pathway filled with strife,
Yet some of the mistakes we have made
Have helped us through life.

But however many times I fall
My love for you is true,
However many errors we make
Our love will see us through,
For we both want the same sweet thing,
An eternal home above,
With that goal in mind my dear
We’ll grown in strength and love.

See How much I love you
Our actions always say,
Through the longest painful night,
Through the darkest day.
Every kindly little deed done,
Through every kindness shown
Shows that we are striving hard
To gain our heavenly throne.
