THERE IS SOMETHING

There is something wonderful about a love that’s true,
It keeps us young and happy, keeps our heart alive.
For whatever the situation, trials, whether many or few,
Will always be overcome, our love will help us survive.

There is something in the air when true love abounds,
Life is full of goodness, full of the important things,
Things that last forever, kind words and sweet sounds
Of laughter, trust, honour and the joy family brings.

There is something in the eyes when love burns deep,
There is a warm contentment, a peace that is so sweet,
Others may know of our love and into our souls peep,
Feeling that love which overflows to others that we meet.

May our love always keep us young as the years press on,
May we remember the special things that keeps love strong,
May we strive for a love that means heaven we have won,
Never quiting or giving in when everything goes wrong.
