THE YEAR'S WE'VE SHARED TOGETHER


The years we've shared together
Have been filled with loving care,
We've had our times of happiness
With joys beyond compare,
We've had our share of sorrows
When our hearts were racked with pain,
But because our love was strong and true,
We saw the sunshine through the rain.



The years we've shared together
Have been filled with honour true,
Although we've had our lonely times apart
Our love and loyalty saw us though,
For the trust we have in this life of ours
Is based on a love that will last,
For our love can improve all things,
And life can be better than in the past.



The years we've shared together
Have been filled with unselfishness,
The joy of each child that came our way
With love and care our lives did bless,
And taught them of the Gospel plan,
We've done our best to serve our Lord
And tried to think of others first
So our love is truly God's great reward.
