FERVENT PRAYER.
I thank my dear Lord above
For every moment I share with you,
For every clasp of your hand,
For every love phrase whispered anew.

I praise the Lord in heaven above
For guiding us in the path of right,
For the deep and endless love I feel
And share with you in pure delight.

I offer prayers of praise and love
To my Father in heaven every day,
Because you are mine for ever
If we follow in the holy way.

I beg for the strength to carry on
So we can share the joys of eternity
And our sweet paradisaical goal.
I pray with fervent soul to be worthy
When that final call is made;
And we hold hands before our Lord;
And He will smile upon our union;
And we will hear Him speak that word;
That will let us pass the gates of heaven;
And enable us to be together forever.
