MY RAY OF SUNSHINE
You are my ray of bright sunshine,
My strength on that steep climb,
My pillow of contentment and security,
The one I want to be with through eternity.
You are my sweet, dear companion,
My strong arm that I may lean on
When my own droop by my side,
My shelter when I need to hide.
You are my beam of inspiration,
My own caring beloved one,
My partner up to heaven above,
My eternal sweetheart whom I love.
It’s you I want to be with every day,
For we are one in a very special way,
Whatever our troubles, we always share,
Showing how much we both really care.
No other husband will do for me,
It’s you, my love, I want for eternity,
Your loving arms around me forever more,
As we in heaven together our God adore.
