LOVE POEMS IN THE SAND.

I would not mind writing you a love poem,
Written on the smooth sandy shore,
And though the sea would wash them away
I would write them all once more.
I’d tell you every time the sea washed them away,
I’d tell you I love you again and again,
I’d wait for the sea to make me a page of sand
So I could write poems to the best of men.

So next time I’m by the sea shore
And the sand is a smooth page to write,
I’ll fill it with love that can’t wash away
For you fill my life with endless delight.
Be it on paper, or on the sands of the sea
I’ll write you love poems through eternity,
For that is how long my love will last,
For you are mine and that will alway be.
