WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME
Some people are always on the take,
Find it hard any kind of effort to make
To lend a hand unless there is some gain,
Don’t seem to care for others hurt or pain.
Can you help out, you may one day ask,
In some difficult or problem solving task?
He who you thought to be a good friend
Would help if there was some gain at the end.
They maybe rich in worldly things alright,
As they see what they acquire with their might,
But oh, how much they loose in the joy of giving,
How they miss out on the real art of true living.
