Featured in the movie CONTACT this is an interesting area to visit. Ft. Bowie National Monument The area in southwestern Arizona is very much like the stereotypical OLD WEST. One of the interesting places here is at Ft. Bowie. Accessible only by a 1.5 mile trail the fort retains a lot of the luster of days gone by.
