What is Watcher?
Watcher is part of the program used to run the SuperChat IRC Network. Watcher will always be in #TheWizardsWay. As of now, GrayMind and Shaman are the only two who have the access required to operate Watcher. They can get Watcher to act & talk as if it were actually another person in the room. For your benefit, GrayMind has written a script that allows any user to get Watcher to display a random, or specific quote in the room. There are currently 90 quotes, with plans to add more.
How to use Watcher
When either GrayMind, or Shaman are in #TheWizardsWay, Watcher comes alive!
To get Watcher to display (in the channel) a random quote, you need to ask Watcher (in the Channel) what he thinks. The script GrayMind wrote looks for the words Watcher & Think in the same sentence. So, here are some examples of what you could type:
"Watcher, what do you think?"
"What do you think Watcher?"
"Wather, could you please tell us what you think about that?"
Rather than picking a quote at random, you can also get Watcher to display a specific quote by number (See Below). To reference a specific quote, type: reference #
For Example:
"reference 4"
"reference 50"
"reference 90"
