When I began to study Polish, I had no idea where to find Polish Books. I am happy to say that I have found several places that carry a large selection of books in Polish and in English about Poland. Here are the addresses of places that sell books by mail or over the internet.

Amazon.com has a variety of Polish books, including the Polish instruction books recommended on my "How to Learn Polish" page.

The Polska Ksiegarnia (Polish Bookstore) in Chicago has an excellent web page where you can browse their large selection of books and CDs for online shopping. I particularly like the CD section. You can listen to cuts from the various CDs and hear the music before you buy.

Universitas Ksiegarnia Internetowa   Academic publishing house that offers books at every level from a basic Polish textbook for beginners to advanced treatises on linguistics. Also offers a selection of books on philosophy and history.
