Soccer / Football

The soccer football in the Free Confederacy is managed by the Lendian Confederation of Football Associations, which unites the Football Associations and Federations from the Free Republics. Due to the size of the country and the distances between the Free Republics, national championships are played in two phases: in the first phase republican championships are played to find the republican champions. In the next phase, the republican champions join together in the Free Republic where the last national champion came from and play each other to find the new national champion.

The LCFA also organizes the national cup, in which enter all the teams that play in the republican 1^st and 2^nd leagues. Associated Nations and some Dependencies have their own leagues and associations.

The LCFA is also responsible for selecting the national teams amongst the best players of the Confederacy, and for the preparation of these national teams and their participation in international competitions.

In the beginning of this season, the LCFA organized the Commemoration Cup of the Free Confederacy. This competition is to become an annual competition between the main national teams of the Confederacy and the associated states and will be held every year in the anniversary of the assemblage of the Free Republic of Lendia. This year, due a delay in preparation, the Republic of Coceira was represented by it's under-21 team. Here are the results:
