Would you like to know if you died today, would you go to heaven?
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:13
This means that we are less than perfect. There is no one who is able to live a life that would be
completely in agreement with God.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23
Because man chose to sin, we are under the condemnation given by God in His Word.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23
Heaven is God's dwelling place, and no sin can enter there.
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein
dwelleth righteousness. 2 Peter 3:13
And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh
abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. Revelation
21:27
God requires perfection for entrance into eternal life in heaven. We have no means of obtaining
that perfection in our own strength.
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even
we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the
works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by
the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Titus 3:5
There had to be one who was without sin that could take the payment of death in order for the
payment to be made. We could not do this because we would have to pay for our own sins.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to
God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit : 1 Peter 3:18
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of
works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
All a person must do to be saved is believe that Jesus is the Lord who paid for all his sin and then
receive Christ as his savior. God gives this salvation to those who accept it by faith alone.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them
that believe on his name: John 1:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath
everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John
5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. John 6:47
Take God at His word and claim His promise for your salvation. Bow your head right now
and sincerely ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and save your soul.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come
in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that
God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
