Well, Christmas was WONDERFUL --> I was blessed with opportunities to spend time with MANY old college friends, co-counsellors from camp, former bandmates, and even old high school pals I've not seen in AGES. I was also blessed that God's hand was upon this incredibly hard-headed snow-driver, and that I by miracle only made it from Cleveland, Ohio, to Athens, Georgia, through one blizzard, an ice storm, and sleet, moving along at an average speed of 35-40 mph, in ONLY 16 1/2 hours (it usually takes about 11!). I deserve an award; for talent or ignorance, I'm not sure...but I'm sure I deserve something!

Well, since the recording date in December had to be delayed, due to construction, it looks as though the third Set on Edge c.d. will finally get underway on the 6th of February, and I am excited. Rieske and I spent a few days jamming in Painesville over Christmas, and even played a mini-set at The Faith's New Years Eve party. I miss that guy. He's currently in Florida with his wife, Sandy, at Campus Crusade for Christ staff training. Pray for them.

Also, here's a potential road trip for many of you to keep in mind; Set on Edge (Georgia line-up) at the Georgia Theatre (big club; R.E.M. and Dave Matthews have played there in the past) with Filet of Soul, Rock-N-Roll Summer, and Joules Kelvin, among others -- the tentative date for the show is Friday, April 16th, and it's likely that it'll be professionally recorded by Old School Records, a label from Michigan. So, those of you who aren't up for a road-trip, at least a professional quality recording will be available of the show. We'll be doing new versions of a few old songs, plus a whole array of new material. I think it'll be worth the drive, and I'll be happy to find places for ya'll to stay if you visit.

Well, may God's abundant blessings be upon you...

amen and AMEN,
