Ok -- 'Tis Shannon here...our time at Full Moon Studio's this past weekend
was quite successful, I believe; we finished the rythem tracks for A Story
to Cling To, Overflow, Song Sewn in Tears, and Passing into Life. We will
be scheduling a 2nd day to finish the rest of the drums later on either
in March or April. Thank you for your prayers, and please continue to
pray.
On a STRANGER note;
A record label has recently approached me about remastering and re-releasing
either both Autumn Song and Sod Pottage on one disc, or making a compilation
from the two, under a new name and distributing it NATIONWIDE.
Stranger yet -- this'll cost me nada! I haven't seen the contract papers
I'd be signing yet, and I'm not doing a thing w/o seeing a lawyer first,
but the guy that owns this label has been crazy about my music for a while;
he's currently releasing a live album by Bride, and re-mastering and re-releasing
the incredibly rare (well, until he re-releases it!) first album by Michael
Knott (Lifesavers, L.S.U., Mike Knott, Brow Beaters, Alternative Worship,
the Aunt Bettys, Idle Lovell) called "Lifesavors: Us Kids", which was
originally released on Cassette back in '81. It's most likely the first
Christian punk record ever released. Anyway -- please pray for my decisions
concerning this, AND secondly; has anyone
any ideas what to call it? Originally I wanted to call a Set on Edge compilation
"Falling on Deaf Ears", but since I have decided to use that for the name
of the 3rd Studio release that I'm currently recording. So, if anyone
has any ideas, PLEASE email them to me --
I'll be brainstorming as well.
Also, please pray for Steve and Sandy Rieske -- they should be dropping
by here tomorrow, and I just am praying that they'll arrive safely.
God is VERY GOOD...
May His abundant blessings be upon you,
amen and Amen
