There was a large storm in the mountains. The river began to rise and overflow it's banks trapping Bob in his house. Soon the water was almost up to Bob's house. Two neighbors in a row boat paddled up and offered to take Bob to safety.
Bob said, "No thanks. The Lord will save me."
As the water continued to rise, Bob moved to the second story of his house. Two police officers in a motor boat came up and offered to take Bob to safety.
Bob replied, "No thanks. The Lord will save me."
As the water continued to rise, Bob moved to the roof of his house. The National guard in a helicopter flew up and offered to take Bob to safety.
Bob declined, "No thanks. The Lord will save me."
Soon the water rose and swept Bob away. Bob was standing in front God and said, "I believed in you. Why didn't you save me?"
God replied, "What do you want? I sent to boats and a helicopter!"
