Adult Proof

• Intro
  • I'd forgotten how much fun babies are.
  • I'd forgotten babies are fans of entropy.
  • While nature abhors a vacuum, a baby abhors a neat stack of papers.  Not a problem but they can make two messes in the time it takes to pickup the first.  [pause] At opposite ends of the house.
• hunt drill
  • Wife - “it's where you left it”
  • It isn't
  • Ask son - he says “in my room”
  • Afraid of that.  I don't mind lived in, but he has an illegal dump site.
• draw catch
  • Have to reach around draw [show struggling to reach]
  • What's this?  Last winter's garbage bill!  No wonder that never got paid.
• Drill holes - attach latch.  Now can't get the draw in.
• Put back with draw in.
  • can't put back in with latches
  • need short screw driver
  • turn screw the wrong way because looking at it upside down
• At least he can't open it
  • pushes spoon in and pulls with all of his might
  • There he is sitting on the floor grinning at me with the draw open
  • As I walk over, he grabs a plastic bag in each hand runs down the hallway
