The Spirit Within
Ah, yes, he is within. He is a part of us. When we’re happy, he rejoices.
When we’re sad, he helps us out of the darkness, if we accept his help.
He inspires us, when we let ourselves be inspired.
He teaches us, when we’re ready to learn.
He will speak to us, if we listen.
He truly knows that we’re much more than these bodies we occupy or the thoughts that
constantly rush through our heads.
He knows that when we unite to do His will,
we will do something grand and glorious in His eyes.
He listens, but already knows our desires and needs.
He can help us to pray. He can help us to meditate.
He can bring us closer to Him.
Never pushing, but instead leading. Never condemning, but instead forgiving.
Never judging, but instead loving.
Yes, always loving with an unconditional love infinitely greater than the love of a
mother for her newborn baby. He is there.
Patiently waiting until we’re ready. Patiently waiting for us to ask.
Ah, yes, he is within. Talk to him now.
