INVITATION TO NECA WORKSHOP


Dear Colleague:

I am pleased to announce that the National Employment Counseling Association (NECA) Pre-Convention Workshop will be held Thursday and Friday, March 15 -16, 2001 at the Marriott Rivercenter in San Antonio, Texas. The Workshop is held in conjunction with the American Counseling Association Conference. You are invited to join us at the NECA Workshop for two days of information sharing and networking. The Workshop offers continuing education credits.

The theme for this year's Workshop is "Employment Counseling at its Best: Celebrating the Human Spirit." The Workshop will focus on new and useful tools and techniques for human service professionals. With the continuous changes in technology, service delivery and the world of work, you and other human service professionals will want to be up to date on the latest information. At the Workshop, you will hear presenters speaking on a variety of employment related issues, including new legislation, successful counseling techniques and professional development.
