Thanks for your interest in MHSQB! Our hope is to compete and have fun as a team in a unique way. Quiz Bowl combines the teamwork and camaraderie present in our fine athletic programs with the fun of your favorite quiz show (I'm partial to , myself).

Some information incoming players should know:

• Our informational meeting, including an extensive Q&A session will be held on Monday, October 6, in an undetermined site. Check back to this page or check the new bulletin board for details.
• Our practice schedule will begin on Wednesday, October 8. This gives us exactly one month to prepare for our tournament.
• Practices are typically held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 2:45 PM.
• Matches (games) are typically every Wednesday starting in December, except in the case of exams, school holiday breaks, etc.
• When a match is to be played on a Wednesday of a given week, there shall only be practice on Monday and Wednesday of that week. There will not be a practice at 2:45 and a match at 4:00 on the same day.
• MHSQB annually holds open tryouts for the varsity team. This year's tryouts will begin about two weeks after practices begin. Tryout rules, as they differ slightly from our typical quiz bowl rules, will be available here and on the bulletin board. Photocopies will be available at the informational meeting.
