Mail me - but don't spam me!

Apologies to those who genuinely want to contact me for legitimate reasons, but I've had so much spam lately that I've pointed all my Mailto: links here to give people without any sense of netiquette a warning. (If you don't know the terms "spam" and "netiquette", try Newbienet.)

I do not want to receive:

• Invitations to buy products or services. If I want to buy something, I'll go and look for it.
• Invitations to sell, market, represent or otherwise conduct business for someone else. I like my job and don't like selling; again, if that changes, I'll go looking.
• Unsolicited promotion of sites, opinions, events, groups or the like. If you genuinely believe, based on my site and the kind of sites I list here, that I'll be interested in your site, take the time to complete my online form.
• Unsolicited "subscriptions" to mail groups which fill my inbox with unwanted communication about topics I'm not interested in. DON'T SUBSCRIBE ME TO ANYTHING WITHOUT ASKING. IT'S EVEN RUDER THAN TYPING IN CAPS.

Be warned that if I receive anything that breaches these guidelines I'll return it immediately with a copy of this page.

If it happens again, I'll complain to your service provider, who will probably penalise you. Spamming is rude, stupid and a waste of valuable time and bandwidth.

I do want to receive:

Personal, individual feedback on the content or appearance of my site. This can be positive or negative, but it must be personal (i.e. from an individual, not a mail robot) and relevant.
