Aaron Forbush(Aaron,Thomas, Daniel)

Born October 31, 1722; married December 1, 1746 Sarah Lamson, of Ipswitch born 1721; died November 21, 1808. Aaron died August 10, 1811 was a resident Hardwick, Mass.

Aaron Forbush was in the French and Indian War. In 1757 he marched with Hardwick Company to the relief of Fort William Henry, Capt. Joseph Warren commanding.

During the Revolutionary War, he served in Captain Edmund Hodge's company of Minutemen in Col. Jon Cushings regiment. In 1777 he served in the Northern Army.


He had the following children

i. Sarah, born February 25, 1747; married January 14, 1771 Gideon Wheelock, of Hardwick, Mass.

ii. Margery, born November 28, 1749; married March 9, 1780, Moses Winchester, born September 5, 1749. He died March 11, 1831; resident of Hardwick, Mass.

iii. Lucy, born September 20, 1751; married November 8, 1769, Paul Knowlton of Shrewsbury, Mass.

iv. Aaron, born May 29, 1753; married Catherine Rice.

v. Martha, born December 14, 1754; married October 12, 1778, Asa Hall of Montague, Mass.

vi. Edna, born November 21, 1756; married December 30, 1777, Rev. Jacob Whipple of Grafton, Mass. born November 4, 1755.

vii.Moses, born July 15, 1759; married Patty Marble

viii. Rhoda, Born February 26, 1761; married April 5, 1781, Ephraim Hunt; born 1759; died September 5, 1831; She died August 15, 1831. Ephraim was the son of Ephraim Hunt of Dartmouth, Mass. and grandson of Rev. Samuel Hunt of Dartmouth.

ix. Lydia, born August 25, 1762; married November 17, 1785, Noah Marble

x. Susanna, born April 1764; married April 13, 1785, Abel Butterfield of Hardwick
