Then there came this change of life in Taiwan. Firstly was the weather..........the summer was hotter than Singapore and the winter can reach 6 deg celsius ..... terrible. The other thing was my school. It was the Taipei American School, a multi-race and nationality school. They had a different system from Singapore. They emphasize more on projects and an all round education. I still remember that the PE had grades that counted!! The Americans had a very fun education system. I still remembered we had to make something 40x40x40cm to contain an egg so that when it is dropped from 3 storeys high the egg would not crack. I couldn't believe the ridiculous models that came.......(shows that Americans have crap up there.......) One came with wings attached to his egg.....looked like a egg head creature with wings........and of cos that didn't work........poor guy got to clear the mess as he didn't put a plastic bag round the egg. Another came with a loaf of bread and put the egg in between the loaf of bread.........that thing weighed a ton!!.......and as expected raw egg sandwich.......... Mine was the best!....hehehehe well it was! I think if U drop it from a 100 storey building it will survive too.........it's true U got to believe me...... Anyway, this is what I did........ I wrapped the egg with cotton wool and those material with bubbles in them........and over this I put the fruit wrapper for pears over it. Did another layer of that and put the entire thing into a styrofoam box which I dug a hole in the middle of the cube. Inside it was filled with cotton wool........ there! solid huh?? when my teacher threw the box down the thing floated like a dollar note swaying down.......and safe landing........ good huh??
hahahaha.........very proud of it cos few people had a perfect egg after the fall.

Well, I came back to Singapore during June after my 1st semester in TAS has finished and they were having a 2 month summer holidays........:( too bad I got to come back as my father had finished his job........now was a big problem.....I dun know which secondary school to go to........ I had 272 for my PSLE which God blest me with and I could go anywhere I wanted to. But finally I chose St. Andrew's as one of my church friend (Eugene) and my cousin (Joshua) was there so I thought I wouldn't be so lonely..... It was here in St. Andrew's that I met some of my very close friends now.......people like Jonathan, Kok Meng, Jianming, Rongke, Wilson and many more.......i still keep in contact with them too until now!!.....I had a fun time there for my 4 years there......we played basketball and soccer everyday......after school and during recess..... so fun.....how I wish I was back then.......:( I can still remember my class, supposedly the best in the school but the most rowdy. We had people like Sudhir, Benjamin Chang, Dewei, the Asian Scholars......crazy bunch couldn't even sit still........ we even put staples on the teacher's seat?! at that age??!! We once ostracised our literature teacher cos he was REALLY REALLY boring.......b4 the teacher came in we arranged the table such that the class room was divide into 2 front and back.......when he came in all of us went to the back to sleep except for a few on ones who remained in the front......it was so funny.....he didn't know what to do and all of us slept, in front of him, through out the whole lesson.....hahahaha.Maybe it was too fun also cos during this period of time my work suffered as I became lazy.....never the less, God was gracious enough to let me get 9 pts enough to go to VJC where I start a new chapter in my life...........
