Definitions
Witch- A person who is pagan that follows a goddess centered earth based religion and who performs Magick.
Pagan- Is a very broad statement, but simply put it is someone who follows a spiritual path other then one of the "five mainstream" religions.
Magick- Is to exercise influence over ones environment, an interactive process of spiritual growth and psychological transformation. (Scott Cunningham)
Circle- Sacred Space, temple
To Cast a Circle- Is the creation of Sacred Space or the cleansing of an area which you intend to use for sacred purposes ie. spell work, rituals and worship.
Book of Shadows- Usually this term is used for a book which contains a listing and accounting of Spell Work. For Valkarine, it means a collection of our rituals and traditions along with accounts of the circles that have been held.
Sacred Imperative- To enter a Circle you must be able to do so in Perfect Love and Perfect Trust. Once in Circle you must not leave without the permission of the acting High Priest or High Priestess.
