The school was officially opened by Mother St Anatoli
Assistant General of the Institution of the Infant Jesus
Sisters in Paris.
The first principal was Sister St Prudence.The two first teachers were Sister St Anne and Sister St Stanislaus.
Student enrolment rose to twenty by the end of the week. By the end of 1907 ,98 students from Standard 1 to Standard 6 had enrolled. School hours were from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A kindergarthen with 45 children was set up by the end of the year.
Initially , the school was open to both boys and girls. In 1913 , the boys were moved to St Micheal's School which was founded by Father Jean Coppin of St Michael's Church
