28 December 1941 - The school was closed for three years and eight month during the Japanese occupation.

1947 - Science was included in the curriculum for the time and taught to Standard 6 students.Three years later the subject was introduced to the Senior Cambridge class Sister St Oliver supervised the setting up of science laboratories.

21 May 1947 - The first reunion of ex-students of the school, Convent Old Girls Association or COGA was formed
