The school become known as the Main Convent, Ipoh, as sister Convent Schools were establised Annual fun fairs, stage productions and folk dacing displays were held, even into the 1960s,to raise funds to build these schools.

July 1950 - Students were divided into Houses to encourage them to participate activity in sports.The Houses were St Agnes(Red House) , St Joan of Arc(Blue House), St Monica(Green House) and St Theresa(Yellow House).

3 February 1955 - The first school magazine called "VIA" was published.

29 June 1955 - Athletics was introduced for the first time in the school sports.

1957 - SR. ST. Prudence retire as a principal and replace by Sister Pauline Legrix

8 November 1957 - The jubilee edition of "VIA" was printed.

1959 - The first Board of Governors was set up.
