Poetry from Friends
Some people just don't wanna get their own website! Actually, this is some stuff from people who I admire (like my best friend) and I wanted to showcase.

The Cocoa Mug
The cup from Grandma's cupboard
Warms my room but leaves her cold.
If time can only tell,
Then I suppose it finally told.
The memories, the old toy chest,
You played there once, though now you rest.
I close my eyes and see you there
That sparkling smile, your silver hair.
You always were so very kind--
Let me go first, you walked behind.
But this time you knew that it was your turn
Leave me behind, but someday I'll learn.
So Grandma's mug sits here today
Without you to share with
She gave it away.

The moon rises
The sun falls
The shades are drawn
I go to sleep
At least I try
Insomnia hits
I close my eyes
I lie in the darkness
pale with fear
My thoughts fade
Sleep is comming
Sleep is near
The sun rises
The moon falls
The shades open
