Setting sail

So now I gather that you've checked a few other poems of mine, but if not, then here's this one. Try to picture it happening, maybe little kids with bedsheets and pots and pans, maybe the real thing. This is another one you can respond to, tell me what you saw.

Setting sail
Pain and anguish set sail,
on an uncertain sea,
riding waves of tenderness,
uncertain also are they.
Up comes laughter and joy
to set an opposing sail,
they also ride on tenderness,
but use it to their advantage.
Between them lies destiny
bouing+bobbing at the end of an anchor of truth,
the one deciding reality
with faith an easy onlooker.
Pain throws the first blow,
blocked easily by laughter,
backed by joy +judged by truth
an easy match- ruled in favor of the latter.
Anguish tries next,
but to no avail-
for up goes tenderness
and washes him away.
Love flies down to joy's shoulder,
whispering destiny's jurisdiction
for now she is sated,
untill the next battle,
we know the score.

So I hope you like that one. I look forward to hearing from you all!
