![]() ![]() ![]() Ok, with that out of my system, I can tell you WHY he is so damn cool.. By the way, I was writing the above to the tune of "My Name Is..", in case you were wondering if I was high at the time. Well, I was! High on Kenny! Sorry for that.. I'm ok now. Really I am. Ah-hem... So why is Keny so cool? Well, his movies are awesome. Othello was the first movie I saw him in, all of 5 months ago. I rented it, fell in love with Irene Jacob (the most ravishingly beautiful Desdamona). I grew to like Fishbourne too, although he usually goes for the more depressing movies which I don't like to see. Kenny was Iago, but I didn't find that out till later. You see, in the previews for Othello, there is a huge promo for Hamlet. So, a few weeks later, I rented that. I saw it, and my whole obsession with Shakespeare started....full force. ![]() Hamlet, my favorite play. Also, it happens to be my favorite movie as well. I'm only 17, and my third favorite movie is Robin Hood (not the Kostner version, but the cute little cartoon version done eons ago by Disney), so my opinion may not be much. But, this movie was really great.. The sets, outside: snow moors, inside: Elsenore palace. I love snow, so the whole first act was awesome in the movie. Inside the palace, the whole white petal-thing was just bitchin'! So solumn... Go glum... So (dare I say)......melencholy? Ah, there's the rub. The ghost scene actually scared me. That was wicked.. Blue eyes and crazy oath and all... Then, Ophelia's retelling of her affair with Hamlet... Ah, and the associating flashes of a sex scene... Nice brain candy. Then, Gerald Depardieu and his "I whill, mh lerd.." It cracked me up! Any frog would.. So, then came alot of good stuff.. Then, came the famous "To be or not to be?" speech. That was plain perfect. Damn fine, damn fine. Oh yeah, then his hug with Opheia right after that. That was so cute! I'm a softie, and yes I did cry at that.. So, then came the murder and the play and all the jucy stuff. After that, everything else. It would take hours to say how kickin' it was! It was the perfect movie, right down to Kenny's spittle as he was planning revenge on his father's death. In the words of Scott Evil, "It was cool.." Then, Othello. I figured out that Kenny was Iago, the most villanous villan in all of literature. Kenny had a load of fun playing him, and I had a load of fun hating the character. Then, I rented Much Ado About Nothing. Damn cool. Emma and him were great together. His masked lines cracked me up, they even crack up my friends, and they are a buncha freaks! Then, I saw Henry V. Still, very cool. Once more into the breech, my friends! Then, I rented Frankenstein. That tanked, but I still thought it was cool. Helena, damn what a cutie! Even Robert DeNero was cool as the monster. Not a show stopper, understated role. He knew Kenny was even more genius... The Gingerbread Man also tanked, but I thought it was cool too. Even with the southern accent. So now, I wait for the newest Kenny undertakings. The Wild Wild West, with Will Smith as the hero and Kenny as the ugliest villan I've seen since Alien Ressurection. And, much to my delight, a trio of Shakespearian movies. Loves Labours Lost as a musical, with Alicia Silverstone......grrrr... Macbeth, attuned to a modern setting. And As You Like It, tale of crossdressing and love. Its going to be a wonderful ride, and I'm happy Kenny's at the helm. Kenny, the man, the legend, the god. I give you my thanks and deepest wishes for a prosperous future. Love, luck, and lollipops... ![]() One of my favorite photos. This is what Kate is good at, not that Titanic BS... She's so cute!
