MARY'S COMMAND FOR CATHOLICS

John 2: 5 "His mother said to the servants, "do whatever He tells you."

This is the only time in the Bible that Mary gives a command, and I would think that most certainly that Catholics would pay high regard to what she says. Since Mary's own words were to "do whatever Jesus said" then it only seems sensible to look at just what Jesus did say.

John 14: 6 Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. NO one comes to the Father except through me."

JESUS SAYS… that He is the ONLY one that can be your savior.

HE DID NOT SAY… to trust in saints, the pope, or even His mother Mary to

save you. In fact the Bible clarifies it even further in…

Acts 4: 12 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

THE BIBLE SAYS… Salvation is ONLY in Christ

IT DOES NOT SAY… You are saved by belonging to the Catholic Church

John 3: 36 "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."

JESUS SAYS… Your faith must be in Him to save you.

HE DID NOT SAY… Special sacrifices or good works are needed, in fact the

Bible expressly clarifies this…

Ephesians 2: 8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works,

so that no one can boast."

THE BIBLE SAYS… NO works are good enough or necessary, Jesus paid

the price and you cannot give more than that.

John 12: 48 "There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn

him at the last day."

JESUS SAYS… If you do not accept His words, you will be judged by them.

Mark 7: 5,7-9,13 "So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, "Why don't your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders…" Jesus replied, "You worship God in vain; your teachings are but rules taught by men." You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men. "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!" Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that."

JESUS SAYS… God's words are the only authority to follow and that traditions are worthless in God's eyes.

FRIEND, you can RIGHT NOW be saved and KNOW that you have

ETERNAL life, if you will put your "complete" faith in Jesus Christ and stop relying on yourself, church, sacraments, or anything else to save or help save you. Jesus is the Savor, do you believe He can save you or not?

1 John 5: 13 "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may KNOW that you have eternal life."

THE BIBLE SAYS… We can KNOW that we are saved and have eternal life, not subject to the Catholic Church's interpretation, but solely based on our faith in Jesus and His work on the Cross.

If you feel that this is anti-Catholic, you should really reconsider your beliefs.

These are the facts of what Jesus and the Bible says compared with what the

Catholic Church's doctrines, traditions, and teachings say. You need to decide if you are going to believe a "tradition of man" over the words of Jesus.
