Firestick, Kowanyama Land and Natural Resources Management Office, March 16 1997 [PH]. The Australian 50 cent coin, roughly 32 mm in diameter, allows for an estimation of size.

Firesticks are pieces of wood used for starting fires. Specific tree species are exploited as firestick trees, including the grasstree. See the Plant usage page for more information on the uses of plant products in traditional industry.

Either the tree classifier (uk in Uw Oykangand) or the fire classifier (alh in Uw Oykangand) may be used with the name of a firestick, or neither.
