Comments: I only found scripture for married women on your web site, bless you I was divorced when I came to the lord, and sometimes would really like a loving christian husband, I agree with you it would not worry me in the least infact it would have to be a necessatiy to want to love and respect a husband and after 7 years of being single, I have had time to reflect on the bad choice I made. Gods key commandment is love, if of course I have to stay single as I am divorced although i did not know the lord when I married a muslim, never the less as you say scripture we have to stick to, I find this thought quite sad as I often want to be married again. Pray. Obey. Stop arguing in vain against what God Himself has already one. Such arguments only "undress the nakedness of so-called believers who themselves labor and linger in doubt." God has the very *last* say in every situation. "Let God be found true though every man (woman, boy, girl) be found a liar." Seek the work o God's plan in your own life (editorial "you") and help somebody to grow spiritually mature rather than become bogged down in speculation and so many misinterpretations of God's Word. Other comments?: I would refer you to the Christians for Biblical Equality website (www.chrbibeq.org) for a thorough selection of resources to argue from a solidly evangelical position that Gal 3:28 is closer to the NT's "center of gravity" on the ssue of women's roles than is 1 Tim 2:9ff. I grieve for men and women who do not understand that Christ builds his body on the basis of spiritual gifts, not on the basis of gender, education, position, and hierarchy.

Comments: Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law, and gave every believer authority to do the work of the ministry. I believe the church would be a lot further ahead if women hadn't been held back for so long. I have no problem with women pastors as long as hey operate in the gift of the pastor. There are men in the pulpit who are in the wrong ministry, too. I disagree with your idea of women keeping silent in the church. Come on, we're not living in Paul's time. There's too much work to be done to cut o t over 1/2 of the congregation from active service.

Comments: So many have verbalized their desire for truth, and yet it comes forth from so very few. A person can speak all kinds of true statements and proper doctrines, but if truth is not a part of that person's makeup and walk, then even the seemingly truth state ents coming forth from them is corrupt to some degree. The truth is a Person, not a thing to be tampered with by human wisdom and the flesh. Walk in Truth (Christ), and you walk in a worthy manner. Walk in man's truths, and you walk in adversity and corru tion. (There is no right answer to the wrong question.)
